Animal Equality's female leadership is changing the story for animals

On International Women's Day, we recognize the countless women who work to create a world where animals are respected and protected. The contribution of women to the fight for justice for animals is vital and cannot be ignored. A clear example is Animal Equality, whose leadership team has inspiring women in key positions. This is what some of them say: Women throughout history have led the animal protection movement, from the first animal shelter in the United States founded by Caroline Earle White, to the first suffragettes who gathered in vegetarian restaurants. I am proud to be part of this movement and to lead a team of strong women who make a difference for animals.
