The ESET services that are implemented in the product are provided under the terms of the EULA , but some of them may require special attention. We would like to give You more details about the data collection related to the provision of our services. We offer different services that are described in the End User License Agreement and documentation . In order for all these services to be functional, We need to collect the following information:
License and billing data. Name, email address, license key and (if applicable) address, company affiliation and payment data are collected and processed by ESET to facilitate license activation, license key delivery, expiration reminders, support requests, license authenticity verification, provision of our service and other notifications, including marketing messages, in accordance with applicable law or your consent. ESET is legally obliged to retain billing information for a period of 10 years, but license information will be anonymized no later than 12 months after license expiration.
Update and other statistics. The information processed includes information Phone Number List about the installation and your computer, including the platform on which our product is installed, and information about the operations and features of our products (operating system, hardware information, installation identifiers, license identifiers, IP address, MAC address, product configuration settings) which are processed for the purpose of providing update and upgrade services and ensuring the maintenance, security and improvement of our backend infrastructure.
This information is separated from the identification information required for licensing and billing, as it does not require identification of the End User. The retention period is a maximum of 4 years.

ESET LiveGrid Reputation System . One-way hashes related to infiltration are processed for the purpose of the ESET LiveGrid® Reputation System which improves the effectiveness of our antimalware solutions by comparing scanned files to a cloud-based database of whitelisted and blacklisted items. The End User is not identified during this process.
ESET LiveGrid® Feedback System . Suspicious samples and generic metadata as part of the ESET LiveGrid® Feedback System that allows ESET to respond immediately to end-user needs and remain responsive to the latest threats. We rely on You to send
From infiltrations (potential samples of viruses and other malicious and suspicious programs), problematic, potentially unwanted or potentially dangerous objects (executable files), e-mail messages that You have reported as spam or detected by our product;
Internet usage information, such as IP address and geographic information, IP packets, URLs and Ethernet frames;
Of crash dump files and the information they contain.
We do not want to collect your data outside of this scope, but sometimes this is not possible. Accidentally collected data may be included in malware (information collected without your knowledge or consent) or in file names or URLs . We do not want this data to be part of our systems or to be processed for the purposes stated in this Privacy Policy.
All information obtained and processed by the ESET LiveGrid feedback system is intended to be used without the identification of the End User.
